The objective of the EWCM Crop Monitor is to follow the model developed by the Crop Monitor for AMIS but to focus on early warning countries, which are of interest to the international community due to their periodic episodes of acute food insecurity, and to highlight potential areas of concern in a monthly bulletin. This activity covers the crops most important for food security for each subnational region.
